Parent volunteers play a significant role in students success.

 Why Volunteer?

Parent volunteers play an important role in the success of CCS.  When parents actively participate in their child's school their child benefits. 

Parents are not required to volunteer as a condition of admission or continued enrollment, but we encourage parents to continue their support by being an active participant in their child's education through volunteer opportunities.

Some of the Ways You Can Help ...

• Chaperone on class field trips

• Assist in class specific or school-wide fundraising

• Assist with the annual Book Fair

• Help with school-wide family events

• Plan activities or food for classroom parties

• Help classroom teacher by reviewing skills & concepts taught in class (vocabulary flash card, review mathematics facts, letter formation/handwriting skills)

• Assist teachers in preparation of bulletin boards

• Preparation of instructional materials for classroom use

• Teach a craft or hobby

• Speak to the class about your occupation

• Share with the class your cultural and ethnic background

• Help with clerical needs in the school office

• Assist in the lunchroom and/or on the playground

All volunteers are asked to complete an Online Volunteer Application. Once your application has been approved, you will receive an email to sign up for any available volunteer opportunities.
